Brian Lacy

Brian Lacy moved to Nelson County, Virginia, just over twenty years ago to raise a family and make pottery full time.  Creating functional items comes naturally to Brian.  From making toys in elementary school to tools in high school, he is at ease using a variety of materials.  Focusing on pottery, he has mastered the skills required to make functional work artistically.  This attention to detail continues even to the glazes.  These food-safe glazes used are recipes Brian has developed over nearly 30 years of experimentation. 

Each piece is made by hand, one at a time.  All are designed to offer a lifetime of use.
